DISTINCTIVENESS REQUIRES COURAGE
In food & drinks, safe branding is the shortest route to sameness. Categories are crowded with products using the same visual codes, the same claims, the same ingredients, and increasingly similar ideas of what “premium,” “natural,” “healthy,” or “fun” should look like. Distinctiveness rarely comes from following those conventions more elegantly. It comes from making sharper choices.
Our approach is to identify what a brand can genuinely own and turn it into a recognizable system of distinctive assets. Color, typography, shape, illustration, photography, naming, tone of voice, packaging architecture and product hierarchy should work together to create something that is difficult to confuse with anyone else.
Boldness should always serve recognition and choice. On shelf, the brand needs to interrupt attention and communicate quickly. Across a portfolio, it should stay coherent and recognizable without becoming repetitive.
